Our commitment to sustainable hospitality is concrete thanks to our adhesion to Lifegate’s Stay for the Planet programme with Best Western Italia, which has enabled us to map consumption and behaviour in our facility based on five areas of environmental impact: Energy, Water, Waste, Purchasing and Behaviour.

The goal is to reduce CO2 emissions by 20 per cent by the end of 2014 by implementing energy efficiency actions and reducing the environmental impact through responsible behaviour.

Best Western Hotel Solaf has therefore committed itself to sustainable business management through concrete actions of:

• electronic keys to ensure that no electricity is wasted during the guest’s absence;
• energy-saving light bulbs and LEDs as an alternative to ordinary ones;
• separate collection of waste and spent batteries;
• use of eco-labelled detergents;
• monitoring of water and energy consumption;
• promotion of eco-friendly behaviour also by our guests, by means of a small vademecum available in each room, containing tricks to save energy during their stay.
